My Kids,
Almost half of you have missed many homework assignments over the past two weeks. Even though many of you are on-task during class time, I am concerned that some of you will not be adequately prepared for the tests on Friday. Freshmen, remember that you will be tested on The House on Mango Street with an emphasis on comprehension and symbolism. Sophomores, you will be tested on Animal Farm with an emphasis on comprehension and allegory. If you have significantly fallen behind on the assignments, you should at least read the text that you have skipped. Additionally, you can bring in your iPod or thumb drive if you would like us to give you an audio copy of the text. I look forward to seeing many "at grade level" scores on the tests.
